Center Blooms Under New Management
The Center for Integrative Healthcare (CIH) has been a stalwart presence in the community since 1992, providing conscience care for mind and body. For 23 years, social worker, Ted Cmarada built a solid private practice that strove to integrate modern psychotherapy with body-oriented therapies like massage, yoga and meditation. In 2010, Dr. Ethan Bliss joined the group as a lead clinician, providing therapy for children, couples, families, and individuals. Infusing new energy and therapeutic vision into CIH, Dr. Bliss took over the practice in 2015 when Cmarada stepped down as Director.
“My hope is to continue to offer the exceptional service clients have come to expect from the Center for Integrative Healthcare while revitalizing an environment of support and growth for our clients and clinicians,” said Dr. Bliss of his vision for the practice. “I’m quite excited about our potential to provide vital new services to our community. We have some talented clinicians starting group therapy to address issues of anxiety and socialization, and we are expanding our services for children, especially in the areas of autism and depression.”
